Install the WebCenter Web Server

The Web Server components of WebCenter can be installed from a link on the WebCenter installation media.

Log on to the Web Server as a member of the local Administrators group.
Ensure that Internet Information Services (IIS) has already been loaded by verifying that the Internet Information Services applet is in Administrative Tools in the Control Panel.

Note: If it has not been loaded, you must load it through Add/Remove Windows Components in Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
Insert the WebCenter media into the media drive, and click Software Installation on the menu that appears at left, then Install WebCenter 16.1.
The setup wizard opens with a Welcome screen. Click Next.
In the License Agreement screen, read the agreement, and if you agree to it, select I accept the terms in the license agreement and click Next.
In the Custom Setup screen:
1. Click the icon next to WebServer, and select This feature, and all subfeatures, will be installed on local hard drive.
2. Click the icon next to Application Server and select This feature will not be available.
3. If desired, click Change to change the installation folder.
4. Click Next.
In the Option Selection screen:
1. Enter the name of the Application Server.
  This should be a different machine than the one currently running the installation.
  Note:
  You cannot configureWebCenter with IP addresses. If the web server is not able to find the application server via name resolution, you can map the IP address of the application server and the hostname of the application server in the C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file. For example: 10.31.140.69 myappserver.

2. If you want to install WebCenter using an already-existing IIS website (rather than the Default Web Site), select it in the list.
3. Click Next.
Click Install.
The Esko Station Information Service may be installed if this is the first Esko software being loaded on the machine.
If it installs, click Continue when it is done, or wait 10 seconds for the process to continue automatically.
Click Finish when the installation completes.
Reboot the machine if prompted.
